Counting Down the Days

It's almost over! I've been counting down the days until the end of this semester. I have one more day of class, three more days of test, and then 26 days of freedom. Well partial freedom, since work will continue through my break (rude!). I have never been so excited to have free time just so that I can do laundry, or clean my house. I am not good at maintaining a clean house, shocking I know, so when you add school, a child, and a job, just imagine the state of my home at this point. Scary, I know. Prayerfully this will free up enough time for me to implement a schedule of some sort, because I can't go another six months without order. While I am starting up a new schedule, I hope to also implement healthier eating habits, as well as a consistent exercise routine. Anyways, I will hopefully be able to update this a little more in the next few weeks and ill be sure to post pictures soon.

Hair Cut #3

I'm finally being brave and decided to get Hadley's hair cut. She already had a trim (to fix the mullet look), and then got bangs, and now I had it evened it out. It's official, she has a cute little toddler haircut. So grateful to have Allie to cut Hadley's hair. I don't know if anyone else would have been as patient with my little wiggle worm. I didn't get a picture of the back but here's the finished product from the front. Cute girl.

2 Posts in a 24 Hour Period

This is crazy, two posts in a day(ish), what on earth? Well I Just read through my entire blog, all what like 30 posts, and realized most start with "here's an update", and have a spelling error in them. So It is my goal to blog more often, and to spell words correctly. I also realized I can update my blog from my phone. This may be the key to me blogging more often. Now I just need to figure out uploading pictures from the old phone.

It's Debbie's Fault.

Debbie basically screamed in my face and told me I needed to be a better blogger (or something like that). So here you have it folks, an update. I am just in school, or studying for school, constantly. Like that's all I ever do with my life. Anyways, the few precious hours I have with my family are spent playing mostly. Lately, we have all been going outside after dinner and throwing around the frisbee around, chasing eachother, and watching Hadley ride her bike. Here's some pictures real quick because I just put Hadley down for a nap. This used to mean I had free time to do things I wanted liek read or rest. It still means I read, just instead of reading for pleasure it has become reading to hopefully understand the material and take a million and a half notes.

Maybe I will upload more pictures soon... if I ever find a free second. One day I will be good like you Debbie, one day.

Mommies Little Helper

Today Hadley and I decided we NEEDED to make some tastey chocolate chip cookies.
She helped pour and stir the whole time. Baking is so much more fun with a little helper. Here's some pictures of her teaching me how its done.

Its a shame she can't keep still longer than a second, these pictures would have been even more precious.

Sunday is Blogday

Sunday is my weekly blog checking day, because everyone knows thats the day most people update the world on whats going on in their lives. Tomorrow is the first day of the second semester of school for me! I can't believe I already have one whole semester of nursing school under my belt. Crazy. And I actually did well in it, B's in each class (which I am proud of because me + microbiology = enemies). This semester I will tackle being a mother, wife, and taking pharmacology, med surg, and human development. On top of all that I'm job searching, not so sure where that will fit into my life but if I get one, we will just adjust and get it figured out. We are also CONSIDERING moving, just to a different appartment, because John is not capable of staying in any one place very long, and we've lived here almost a whole year! Which sadly is huge for us. Since we've been maried we haven't lived in the same place (or same state) more than about 7 or 8 months, so this whole one year things is big news haha. Anyways, I hope every one is having a lovely Sunday and that you are all enjoying a much less hectic schedule than I.

Life as of Late

Easter this year was pretty good. It was a little stressful because long story short, we sent Daddy to California for a medical procedure (his insurance doesn't cover him here) and we had no idea when he would be home. Turned out the Easter Bunny brought him home along with all of the eggs for hadley to hunt. She did a great job and found every last one, and proceded to open them and shove all the candy down her throat. Then we spent the evening with Kellen and Allie, and his mom and step dad. These two little sweeties just love hanging out together :)

And now, I'm just trying to survive the finals crams, and then start all over the very next week, when I will be taking excelerated pharmacology, med surge and a super excelerated human developement class. Yikes! Oh and also cram clinicals, motherhood, and being a wife in there. I just have to make it to August, then I at least get a short break.

And now for a small picture dump.
Easter agg coloring (don't worry, she successfully dumped this all over herself and stained her body pink)

So excited to see her easter basket and all of the candy in it.

 Collecting eggs out front
Hadley and Ashton having fun together
Daddy, Hadley, and I went to Hoggle zoo!!

Impulsive

Today I had Hadley dressed up all cute, and was wishing I had some preofessional pictures of her. I always mean to make appointments to get it done, but I NEVER follow through with it. So today with her looking all cute we headed to the mall and just got some cute pictures taken. We still need to get some family pictures, maybe that will happen within the next year, maybe.

And now for the pictures

School

You know school has started when you notice people stop blogging. I am a prime example of this.

I have FINALLY started the nursing program. We've learned how to do an adult physical assesment, vital signs, and how to place a catheter on both male and female patients. We don't start going to the hospitals until February 1st, so until then we use dummies, and eachother (only for vitals, and assesments, not catheters :) ).

So sorry for no excitement, but I need to go do some studying.
