SCORE!

The past few days I have been a ball of nerves.
I had to take a placement type of test to get into the prenursing classes.
When I finally got there and sat there with the test in front of me,  I thought I was going to throw up.
After I took it I knew I did fine on it. It was NOWHERE near as difficult as I had anticipated.

After the test proctor graded te test she said
"You needed to score a 160."

For the longest time ((it felt like)) she was just silent.

She finally exclaimed,
"You got a 188, that's the highest score anyone has gotten that I've seen!"
Relief set in immediately.
And it was great to know I was finally done,
and that my little Hadley was happy at home playing with her daddy.

Today was an
kind of day.

Keeping Up With the Diaz Family

As you all know I am absolutely
HORRIBLE
at keeping up with my blog. So I have about a million pictures and a lot to tell.
As you are all aware I found out in about August of 2009 that I was
expecting.
((Can anyone guess the gender?))

(Don't worry I wasn't this big in August!)
If you guessed GIRL you are so right!
March 9th I went to Saint Agnes Hospital to be induced around 11 p.m. so that John wouldn't miss the birth. (he was leaving for bootcamp soon)
After hours of pain, I was only 5 centimeters dialated, and completely exhausted. I opted for the epidural. That was the best decision of my life :). After 16 hours of labor, and about 45 minutes of pushing...

Little Hadley Margaret was born March 10, 2010 at 4:07 p.m.

weighing in at 7 lbs 7oz
&
measuring in at 20 inches.
She was absolutely perfect.

(Except for her little crooked nose... which has since straightened out)

She was blessed on March 14, 2010
at, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,
where she was surrounded by many family members and friends.

She has done a lot of growing up since then and is now
Rolling over
Smiling

LAUGHING!
Crying and sleeping... well she's been good at that since th beginning

She's trying her hardest to
crawl

sit up

&
talk... it's a riot hearing her babble.

She is the light of my life and the apple of her daddy's eye.

(Pardon the shirtless Daddy... it was the middle of the night)

We will soon (as in next Friday) be moving to
UTAH!

I will be getting my CNA in August and then start a nursing program in January! It's been a crazy 4 months but we are loving every minute of it!

Catch Up...

I have not had decent internet service for the past little while so I haven't been keeping up with my blog. So since my last post I got married to John Diaz, my highschool sweetheart. We have dated on and off ((but mostly on)) for the past 4 1/2 years and we finally decided to tie the knot. It wasn't a big white wedding but we will be doing all of that later when it all gets planned. It was just me and him, and it was right for us. We have been having a great time together, going to the beach, and just doing little everday ordinary things together. Anyways he is itching to use our internet so I'll just have to finish this up later.
